nigirikuni visits the bay area
Chef Kunihide Nakajima from New York (Nakaji) visited the Bay Area and visited three locations (Kinsen, Ren, and Iki) for three nights in a row and I was able to try his session at Sushi Ren on November 29th, 2025. (Snow crab season haha)
Chef Kunihide Nakajima was the chef for the visits at the restaurants but on a normal evening, seems that Kinsen is heavily fish but still edomae, Ren leans more kaiseki, and Iki is more casual and experimental. Please do correct me if I’m wrong.
